Patient Payments

Jefferson Hospital will bill your insurance company as a courtesy. Patients are responsible for payment of services that are not covered by insurance companies, as well as co-payments and deductibles. When paying any balance, you have the following options:

1. Payment in full

You can make payment in full through the following means:

Cash
Check
Money Order
Visa, Mastercard, or Discover

2. Payment Arrangement

Patients are given the option to pay their account with a payment plan through the hospital. Please contact us at 412-267-6462.

3. Allegheny Health Network-Jefferson Hospital Financial Assistance Program

Medically necessary services are available through the facilities at Jefferson Hospital without charge or at a reduced rate to qualifying individuals. To be eligible to receive services under this program, you must be a recipient of the Pennsylvania Medicaid Program, or your family income must be at or below the established poverty guidelines.
